In an op-ed in the Lexington Herald-Leader, Jamie Fiepke, President and CEO of the Kentucky Motor Transport Association, writes, “In fact, research conducted last year by the American Transportation Research Institute showed that medium-sized trucks had a higher accident ratio than heavier trucks. While big-truck accidents decreased almost 25 percent from 2000-2010, medium-sized trucks accidents increased over 38 percent over the same period.” Read full article here
